In trials, this Vitalis Hokkaido hybrid has proven to produce higher yields of uniform fruits than any other open pollinated UchikiKuri. The shape of the orange fruits is round pointed, larger than our open pollinated UchikiKuri 2.64-3.5 lbs. (1.2-1.6 kg.) and produces more fruits per plant. Orange Summer germinates easily and has a quick field emergence. Its bush type plants are strong against mildew.
