Eleonora is an impressive new Genovese type with intermediate resistance to Downy Mildew. Field trials around the world show that Eleonora is consistently slower to get Downy Mildew than other varieties on the market. Medium green leaves are slightly narrower and less cupped than a traditional Genovese type. Eleonora tends to have a limited harvest window due to its fast growth and tendency to bolt under warm conditions, so continual harvest and staggered plantings are recommended.
